FLEETBOSS FORTIFIES SALES AND MARKETING STRENGTH WITH FOUR NEW PROFESSIONAL APPOINTMENTS


Orlando, Fla. – (February 1, 2002) – FleetBoss Global Positioning Solutions, Inc., the leading developer and distributor of GPS-based fleet management systems, today announced the appointment of four new positions, to be located in the company’s Central Florida headquarters. The new appointees include: Daniel Lee, vice president, sales; Terry E. Trimmer, director of dealer development; Julie Axelrod, marketing director; Mark Campagna, communications director.

“These new positions serve to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to building and maintaining a highly skilled, well trained and informed national dealer channel,” said Brian Carroll, vice president and chief operating officer. “This is a very exciting time for our company and our industry, as the application of GPS technology for managing fleet vehicles will truly save fleet owners significant overhead costs due to improved fleet monitoring and management. With these four new professional appointments, we are ideally positioned to enhance dealer loyalty while increasing our installed base and overall customer satisfaction,” he added.

The new appointments include:

Daniel Lee, vice president, sales. Mr. Lee has overall responsibility for achieving the sales goals of the company, including dealer support and development strategy, national sales and retail sales management and national sales training for new and existing dealers. His background includes over 11 years of national and regional direct sales and a BS degree in communications and marketing. Mr. Lee will report to Brian Carroll, VP and COO.

Terry E. Trimmer, director of dealer development. In this newly created position, Mr. Trimmer will be responsible for recruiting, evaluating and developing new dealer channels in strategic markets. Mr. Trimmer formerly led the company’s direct sales efforts in Central Florida. Mr. Trimmer has an MBA and an extensive background in sales, marketing and executive recruiting. He also has been a small business owner and will now report to Daniel Lee, VP of sales.

Julie Axelrod, marketing director. Ms. Axelrod will develop and manage the company’s advertising and sales promotion programs. Her solid background in account and program management with several national advertising agencies, representing high-profile clients, will enhance the company’s activities in generating sales leads for the dealership channel as well as national accounts. She has two BS degrees and will report to Brian Carroll, VP and COO.

Mark Campagna, communications director. Mr. Campagna is responsible for the development and execution of the company’s internal and external communications, including media relations, dealer communications and the company’s proprietary intranet for authorized dealers. Mr. Campagna has a BS degree and has held several marketing communications management positions with high technology companies and business- to-business advertising agencies. He is also a former business owner and will report to Brian Carroll, VP and COO.
